Champagne & Ribs

We celebrated Champagne & Ribs' 10th Anniversary this past October 5th, 2011.  Thank you to all who came out and supported the event.  Champagne & Ribs, was created to diversify and deepen CAMH's audiences. It was an evening of crisp bubbles, delicious barbeque, and saucy live jazz on CAMH's terrace. This traditionally posh and proper event finally let its hair down on its 10th year, trading its usual tents in the May heat for cool October breezes and a relaxed, block-party atmosphere on the front lawn. This refreshed Champagne & Ribs was a chance for Houstonians to take part in after-hours tours with our curators, enjoy jazz and barbeque, and come together as a community at CAMH. In celebration of the event's 10th anniversary, this year's special musical guest was the critically-acclaimed jazz group The Robert Glasper Trio.
