For a printable summary of
the shows in a decade, select a decade box in the navigation
bar. The year boxes in the navigation bar may be used to jump
to specific points within the decade list,
and more specific information about each show can be obtained by selecting the
[more…] button
next to each show title. To return to the navigation bar from any point in
the decade summary list, simply click on the back
to top button before and after each year in the summary
list.
 This exhibition history has been compiled
from a variety of sources including exhibition announcements,
catalogues, newspaper articles, reviews, and interviews.
The
decade summaries include the names and dates of the exhibitions
for that decade. Each detailed entry is composed of the following
information when known:
exhibition title, participating artists (when
not indicated by exhibition title), dates of the
exhibition, where it was presented, the individual and/or
institution responsible for its organization, exhibition
tour information (when
applicable), and the accompanying publication with its contents
noted, if published by the Contemporary Arts Association/Museum.
The Museum would welcome any materials
or information that would add to this history.
